A block has volume 10 cm^3 and density 2.5 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.
- 2Vectors3 marks
a is the column vector (-1, 6) and b is (6, -5). Work out 3a - 3b as a column vector.
- 3Probability Trees3 marks
4 of 10 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 4, 4, 4, 3. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(72) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
