Four classes in order have frequencies 9, 12, 8, 5. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 3Recurring Decimals to Fractions3 marks
Write the recurring decimal 0.777... as a fraction in its simplest form.
- 4Quadratic Formula3 marks
Work out the discriminant of 4x^2 + 2x + 1 = 0 and say how many real solutions it has.
- 5Speed and Density2 marks
A block has volume 35 cm^3 and density 7.5 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.
