A town's population is 16000 and grows by 3% each year. Work out the population after 5 years, to the nearest whole number.

Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 4. The smaller has an area of 21 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
21 students study Spanish and 11 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Histograms2 marks
A histogram class is 5 units wide and contains 20 values. Work out the frequency density.
- 5Standard Form3 marks
Work out (12 x 10^9) / (2 x 10^5). Give your answer in standard form.
