A cone has base radius 10 cm and vertical height 18 cm. Work out its volume, leaving your answer in terms of pi.
- 2Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 6 red and 4 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 3Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 11, 5, 7, 6. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 4Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(75) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
- 5Inequalities on Graphs2 marks
A region is defined by y < -2x + 1. Should the boundary line be solid or dashed, and why?
