A block has volume 25 cm^3 and density 8 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.

A line has gradient 4. Work out the gradient of a line perpendicular to it.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
15 students study Spanish and 6 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 12, 10, 9, 7. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(48) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
