y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 36. Work out y when x = 6.

Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 2. The smaller has an area of 9 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
20 students study Spanish and 7 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 12, lower quartile 22, median 32, upper quartile 41 and maximum 50. Work out the interquartile range.
- 5Standard Form2 marks
Work out (8 x 10^4) x (9 x 10^6). Give your answer in standard form.
