Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 4. The smaller has an area of 17 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
15 students study Spanish and 5 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 4, 7, 6, 4. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Standard Form3 marks
Work out (16 x 10^11) / (8 x 10^5). Give your answer in standard form.
