35 beetles are marked and released. Later 36 are caught, of which 9 are marked. Estimate the population.

Write sqrt(48) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
- 4Trigonometric and Exponential Graphs2 marks
The curve y = 4^x is drawn. Work out y when x = 2, and write down where the curve crosses the y-axis.
- 5Writing a Ratio as a Fraction or Linear Function2 marks
x : y = 4 : 5. Write y in terms of x.
