y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 18. Work out y when x = 2.

A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 18 cm and an angle of 21°. Work out the side opposite that angle, to 1 decimal place.

1 of 9 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 13, lower quartile 15, median 17, upper quartile 26 and maximum 29. Work out the interquartile range.
- 5Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(75) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
