The curve y = 2^x is drawn. Work out y when x = 5, and write down where the curve crosses the y-axis.

y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 36. Work out y when x = 5.

a is the column vector (-6, 6) and b is (-3, -2). Work out 3a - 4b as a column vector.
- 5Probability Trees3 marks
2 of 6 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
