1 of 8 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 2Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 7, lower quartile 10, median 18, upper quartile 20 and maximum 30. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(20) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
- 4Equation of a Line3 marks
A line has gradient 2 and passes through (2, 8). Work out its equation.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 6, y = 144. Work out y when x = 8.
