y is inversely proportional to x. When x = 5, y = 40. Work out y when x = 10.
- 4Similar Shapes (Area and Volume)3 marks
Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 4. The smaller has an area of 29 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 5Conditional Probability3 marks
22 students study Spanish and 11 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
