For the curve y = 20/x, work out y when x = -2, and write down the equation of its vertical asymptote.

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 5, y = 55. Work out y when x = 3.
- 3Similar Shapes (Area and Volume)3 marks
Two similar solids have lengths in the ratio 1 : 4. The larger has a volume of 1920 cm^3. Work out the volume of the smaller.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 3 red and 5 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Capture Recapture2 marks
A capture-recapture estimate is made of the moth population of a meadow. State one assumption the method relies on.
