For the curve y = x^2 - x - 1, work out y when x = 1.

y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 24. Work out y when x = 9.

A sector of a circle has radius 12 cm and angle 240°. Work out its area, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Conditional Probability3 marks
20 students study Spanish and 5 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
