A box plot has minimum 10, lower quartile 18, median 22, upper quartile 27 and maximum 35. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Fractional and Negative Indices2 marks
Write 2^-2 as a fraction.
- 4Drawing Quadratic Graphs2 marks
For the curve y = x^2 - 5x - 2, work out y when x = -4.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 81. Work out y when x = 5.
