A stem and leaf diagram has a single stem 2 with the leaves 0, 4, 6, 7, 9. Work out the median of the five values.

Put these in order, smallest first: 1/4, 3/5, 0.45.
- 3Writing an Expression2 marks
A rectangle is x cm wide and 4 cm longer than it is wide. Write a simplified expression for its perimeter.
- 4Proportion2 marks
A recipe for 6 flapjacks uses 162 g of flour. How much flour is needed for 3 flapjacks?
- 5Angles1 mark
Two angles sit next to each other on a straight line. One of them is 109°. Work out the other.
