A stem and leaf diagram has a single stem 5 with the leaves 4, 5, 6, 8, 9. Work out the median of the five values.

Put these in order, smallest first: 35%, 1/2, 2/5.
- 3Writing an Expression2 marks
A rectangle is x cm wide and 4 cm longer than it is wide. Write a simplified expression for its perimeter.
- 4Proportion2 marks
A recipe for 8 flapjacks uses 120 g of flour. How much flour is needed for 15 flapjacks?
- 5Coordinates1 mark
The point (5, 5) is moved 1 left and 1 up. Write down its new coordinates.
