A bag holds 3 red, 3 blue and 5 green counters. One is taken at random. Work out the probability it is blue.
- 3Stem and Leaf2 marks
On a stem and leaf diagram the stem 3 has the leaves 0, 2, 6, 9. Write down the largest of those values.
- 4Estimating2 marks
Estimate 348 x 40 by rounding each number to 1 significant figure.
- 5Substitution2 marks
Work out the value of 3x - 7 when x = -3.
