A rectangle is 21 cm by 4 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.

Write x^2 - 6x - 8 in the form (x + a)^2 + b.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 27. Work out the positive value of x when y = 48.
- 53d Pythagoras and Trigonometry3 marks
A cuboid measures 12 cm by 14 cm by 4 cm tall. Work out the angle between its longest internal diagonal and the base, to 1 decimal place.
