- 1Conditional Probability3 marks
A bag holds 6 red, 3 blue and 4 green counters. Two are taken without replacement. Given neither is green, what is the probability both are red?
- 2Histograms3 marks
A histogram has four 10-wide classes from 0, with frequency densities 0.5, 2, 1, 3. Which class contains the median?
- 3Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 680 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 6 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 4Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (-3, -6) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(x) - 2.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 36, y = 24. Work out y when x = 81.
