- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 10 units wide with frequency density 2.5, one 10 units wide with density 3.5. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 230 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 6 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Inverse and Composite Functions3 marks
f(x) = 4x + 5 and g(x) = 6x - 8. Work out fg(0).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 81. Work out the positive value of x when y = 225.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the exterior angle of a cyclic quadrilateral is being found. State the reason being quoted.
