On a histogram the bar for 40 < x <= 50 has a frequency density of 3.5. How many values are in that class?
- 3Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 7 cm by 29 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
- 4Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (5x(n) + 9) with x(0) = 1. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 3, y = 54. Work out y when x = 4.
