A bag holds 8 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 3/14. Work out r.

On a histogram the bar for 0 < x <= 10 has a frequency density of 1.2. How many values are in that class?
- 5Surds3 marks
Rationalise the denominator of 6/sqrt(2), giving your answer in its simplest form.
