- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 20 units wide with frequency density 1.2, one 25 units wide with density 1.4. How many values in total?
- 2Surds3 marks
Simplify sqrt(27) + sqrt(48), giving your answer in the form a sqrt(b).
- 3The Nth Term of a Quadratic Sequence2 marks
A quadratic sequence starts 11, 24, 45, 74. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 4 m/s to 34 m/s over 20 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that OA and OB are both radii of the circle, so triangle OAB is isosceles. State the reason being quoted.
