A histogram has four 20-wide classes from 0, with frequency densities 2, 0.5, 1, 3. Which class contains the median?
- 3Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 17 cm by 6 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
- 4Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (5x(n) + 4) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 4, y = 75. Work out y when x = 5.
