- 1Histograms2 marks
On a histogram, a 10-wide bar and a 20-wide bar have the same frequency density of 3. How many more values are in the wider class?
- 2Surds3 marks
Expand and simplify (2 + sqrt(3))(2 - sqrt(3)).
- 3Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 7 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 7. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs3 marks
A tram runs at 14 m/s for 20 s, then slows steadily to rest over 4 s. Work out its average speed for the whole journey, to 2 decimal places.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that two tangents are drawn to a circle from the same external point. State the reason being quoted.
