- 1Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 710 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 17 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 2Trigonometric and Exponential Graphs2 marks
The curve y = sin x° is drawn for 0 <= x <= 360. Write down the value of y when x = 90.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 16, y = 8. Work out y when x = 25.
- 4The Cosine Rule3 marks
A triangle has sides 14 cm, 11 cm and 16 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 14 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 6 red and n blue counters. The probability of taking a red is 6/11. Work out n.
