- 1Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 2, y = 48. Work out y when x = 4.
- 2Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 8 cm and 12 cm and an area of 41.57 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 3Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 9 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 1/6. Work out r.
- 4Histograms3 marks
On a histogram the bar for 10 < x <= 15 has a frequency density of 0.4. How many values are in that class?
- 5Bounds3 marks
A rectangle is 16 cm by 9 cm, each correct to the nearest cm. Work out the upper bound of its area.
