Work out the nth term of the quadratic sequence -2, 3, 10, 19, ...
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 16. Work out y when x = 4.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 14 cm and 12 cm and an area of 42.00 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 8 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 5/14. Work out r.
