A bag holds 12 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 6/11. Work out r.
- 4Histograms3 marks
A histogram has four 10-wide classes from 0, with frequency densities 1, 0.5, 2, 3. Which class contains the median?
- 5Bounds3 marks
x = 89 and y = 79, each correct to the nearest whole number. Work out the upper bound of x - y.
