Prove that the sum of 3 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 3. State the simplified sum you would use.

On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 4 m/s to 6.5 m/s over 5 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Perpendicular Lines and the equation of a tangent3 marks
The point (3, 4) lies on the circle x^2 + y^2 = 25. Work out the gradient of the tangent to the circle at that point.
