The point (4, -5) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(x) - 3.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 50. Work out y when x = 5.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 13 cm and 7 cm and an area of 39.40 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 5 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 3/10. Work out r.
