- 1Histograms3 marks
A histogram has two bars: one 5 units wide with frequency density 2, one 20 units wide with density 0.8. How many values in total?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A car covers 630 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 5 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 7 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 7. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 0 m/s to 24 m/s over 8 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that a radius is drawn to the midpoint of a chord. State the reason being quoted.
