A car covers 210 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 7 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 2Transforming Graphs y=f(x)3 marks
The point (-6, 3) lies on y = f(x). Write down its image on y = f(x) - 4.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 2, y = 48. Work out y when x = 4.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 14 cm and 7 cm and an area of 24.50 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 9 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 1/6. Work out r.
