- 1Histograms2 marks
On a histogram, a 4-wide bar and a 12-wide bar have the same frequency density of 2. How many more values are in the wider class?
- 2Bounds3 marks
A block has mass 780 g (to the nearest 10 g) and volume 15 cm^3 (to the nearest cm^3). Work out the upper bound of its density, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 7 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 7. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs3 marks
A cyclist speeds up steadily from 8 m/s to 17 m/s over 4 seconds. Use the area under the velocity-time graph to find the distance travelled.
- 53d Pythagoras and Trigonometry3 marks
