A car covers 430 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 3 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.

A quadratic sequence starts 5, 11, 19, 29. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 3, y = 54. Work out y when x = 4.
- 4Finding the Area of Any Triangle3 marks
A triangle has sides of 7 cm and 9 cm and an area of 15.75 cm^2. Work out the acute angle between those two sides, to the nearest degree.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
A bag holds 9 counters, r of them red. Two are taken without replacement and P(both red) = 7/12. Work out r.
