- 3The Nth Term of a Quadratic Sequence2 marks
A quadratic sequence starts 5, 23, 49, 83. Work out the second difference, and the coefficient of n^2.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 8 m/s to 23 m/s over 5 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that a tangent meets a radius at the point of contact. State the reason being quoted.
