Expand and simplify (2 + sqrt(6))(2 - sqrt(6)).
- 4Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (2x(n) + 8) with x(0) = 3. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 2, y = 40. Work out y when x = 3.
