f(x) = 2x + 5. Work out the inverse function f^-1(x).

y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 12. Work out the positive value of x when y = 48.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that two angles at the circumference stand on the same arc. State the reason being quoted.
