y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 24. Work out y when x = 6.

A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 11 cm and an angle of 32°. Work out the side opposite that angle, to 1 decimal place.
- 3Probability Trees3 marks
6 of 8 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 6, lower quartile 14, median 19, upper quartile 29 and maximum 31. Work out the interquartile range.
- 5Recurring Decimals to Fractions3 marks
Write the recurring decimal 0.9797... as a fraction in its simplest form.
