3 of 10 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 2Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 4, 6, 9, 3. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 3Recurring Decimals to Fractions3 marks
Write the recurring decimal 0.333... as a fraction in its simplest form.
- 4Trigonometric and Exponential Graphs2 marks
The curve y = 5^x is drawn. Work out y when x = 4, and write down where the curve crosses the y-axis.
- 5Speed and Density2 marks
A block has volume 140 cm^3 and density 3 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.
