Expand and simplify (x + 3)(x + 1)(x + 4).
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is directly proportional to x. When x = 9, y = 72. Work out y when x = 11.
- 5Pythagoras2 marks
A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 10 cm and one shorter side of 8 cm. Work out the other shorter side.
