A cone has base radius 9 cm and vertical height 6 cm. Work out its volume, leaving your answer in terms of pi.

A bag holds 3 red and 4 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 3Capture Recapture3 marks
20 beetles are marked and released. Later 48 are caught, of which 6 are marked. Estimate the population.
- 4Fractional and Negative Indices3 marks
Work out 25^(3/2).
- 5Inequalities on Graphs2 marks
A region is defined by y < -3x - 3. Should the boundary line be solid or dashed, and why?
