A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 8 cm and an angle of 49°. Work out the side adjacent to that angle, to 1 decimal place.

3 of 7 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 15, lower quartile 24, median 28, upper quartile 37 and maximum 46. Work out the interquartile range.
- 5Fractional and Negative Indices3 marks
Work out 36^(3/2).
