A right-angled triangle has a hypotenuse of 14 cm and an angle of 36°. Work out the side opposite that angle, to 1 decimal place.
- 3Probability Trees3 marks
3 of 8 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 5, 10, 10, 11. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Bounds2 marks
A mass is 71 kg, correct to the nearest whole number. Write down the upper bound.
