A code is 2 letters (A to Z) followed by 2 digits (0 to 9), and repeats are allowed. How many codes are possible?
- 4Quadratic Formula3 marks
Work out the discriminant of 4x^2 + 10x + 7 = 0 and say how many real solutions it has.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x. When x = 9, y = 6. Work out y when x = 3.
