- 1Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 5, lower quartile 8, median 15, upper quartile 25 and maximum 29. Work out the interquartile range.
- 2Fractional and Negative Indices2 marks
Write 2^-3 as a fraction.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = -2x + 5. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 6, y = 180. Work out y when x = 3.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (5, -6) is enlarged by scale factor -1 about the centre (-4, 2). Write down the coordinates of the image.
