A block has volume 190 cm^3 and density 3 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.
- 2Similar Shapes (Area and Volume)3 marks
Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 5. The smaller has an area of 27 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
18 students study Spanish and 7 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 3, 11, 4, 11. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Bounds2 marks
A mass is 310 kg, correct to the nearest 10. Write down the upper bound.
