y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 4, y = 112. Work out y when x = 5.

a is the column vector (3, 4) and b is (-3, 0). Work out 4a - 2b as a column vector.
- 3Probability Trees3 marks
3 of 9 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 4Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 9, lower quartile 13, median 22, upper quartile 31 and maximum 37. Work out the interquartile range.
- 5Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(32) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
