A box plot has minimum 12, lower quartile 16, median 21, upper quartile 23 and maximum 28. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Reverse Percentages3 marks
A bill is £456 including VAT at 20%. Work out the amount before VAT.
- 4Drawing Quadratic Graphs2 marks
For the curve y = x^2 - x - 10, work out y when x = 4.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 5, y = 200. Work out y when x = 8.
